What is the best material to choose for my banner?

This generally comes down to where you are planning to display your banner and how long for. We have banner materials that are suitable for most locations. These materials range from our standard 510gsm non-rip banner, which is our most popular and suitable for short to medium term outdoor use. All the way up to our 720gsm heavy duty banner material, which can be printed double-sided with no show through and is suitable for longer periods of outdoor use. We also have mesh banner material if you plan to display your banner windy and exposed areas.

How fast can I receive my banner?

Faster than fast! We are able to offer industry leading turnaround times on our custom printed banners as the whole process from start to finish is completely in-house. Our fastest turnround is our same day collection service, confirm artwork by 11am and collect your banner the same day from our Worcester factory. In some cases, if you can’t collect your banner and still need it that day a courier can be arranged by our team.

If you need a banner next day we offer a express banner printing service with a next working day delivery – Simply confirm your artwork by 11am and receive your banner the next working  day. 

If you have a little more time or are making a large order, our standard 2-3 working day turnaround is perfect for you. Confirm your artwork by 11am and receive your banner in 2-3 working days. This is also the most budget friendly way to purchase your banner.

What does it mean when a banner is finished with hems and eyelets?

This is our standard finishing option and the one you will most likely see when spotting PVC banners whilst you’re out and about. First let’s talk about the hem, this is to add strength and increase the life span of your banner. In our 20 plus years of making banners, we have found that the heat welded hem gives the highest standard of finish. Some companies use tape which obviously has its limitations over time, and other choose to sew hems which in turn puts many tiny holes in the fabric, ultimately making it more likely to fail when exposed to the elements.

Eyelets are small metal rings that are inserted into a hole made in the banner fabric. Eyelets reinforce the hole and make fitting your printed banner easier. We have chosen to use nickel eyelets which are strong and highly resistant to corrosion.

Hems and eyelets are an ideal option if your planning on hanging your banner on a gate, frame, fence or if you plan on using washers to screw it to a wall or any other flat surface . It’s a very versatile finishing option hence why it’s so popular.
